Napoli- F (sub .230 batting average not getting it done)
Moreland- B- (was a decent .272 hitter until he got hurt)
Kinsler- C+ (offensively he's been ok, defensively he's been awful)
Andrus- A (average is way up this season)
Beltre- A+ (been our most consistent hitter this season)
Murphy- A- (hitting .289 on the season)
Gentry- A+ (been probably the biggest positive surprise on the offensive side)
Cruz- C (hasn't been consistent at the plate)
Young- D (on pace for his worst season at the plate since his 2nd season in the Majors)
Hamilton- A+ (5 HR's away from tying career high mark)
Torrealba- F (been worse than Napoli)
Snyder- A (been a decent hitter when he's gotten a chance)
Gonzalez- C (haven't really seen much of him lately)
Martin- I (only 29 AB's...hitting .207 in those at bats)

My Pitcher Grades

Harrison- A+ (Ace of the staff through the 1st half)
Darvish- A- (control issues notwithstanding, he's been about as good as advertised)
Lewis- B+ (aside from a few bumps along the way, he's been solid)
Holland- C- (a huge letdown after his 2nd half last season)
Feldman- F ($#@! this guy)
Feliz- A- (was fairly good as a starter, but has been hurt since mid May)
Nathan- A+ (as good as he's ever been)
Ross- A+ (is a bad ass $#@!)
Ogando- A (was great until he got hurt)
Lowe- A (was great until he got hurt)
Adams- B (has been shaky at times this season)
Uehara- A+ (has way more than exceeded expectations going into the season)
Oswalt- I (haven't seen enough yet)
Kirkman- I (haven't seen enough yet)
Scheppers- I (haven't seen enough yet)
Perez- I (haven't seen enough yet)
Tateyama- F (has been hit hard this season at the MLB level)
Grimm- I (haven't seen enough yet)

ARLINGTON -- After another solid outing by his rookie reliever, manager Ron Washington acknowledged that Robbie Ross would be a candidate to replace an injured All-Star if the opportunity presented itself.

"It certainly would be hard not to think about it," Washington said. "He certainly has done a great job for us. He really has. He's got so much poise. He just comes in and keeps pounding the strike zone and keeps them swinging the bat. If there is a consideration, I would have to think about it."

The Rangers already have eight players going to the All-Star Game, including three pitchers in Matt Harrison, Yu Darvish, and Joe Nathan. But Ross, who tossed 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief in the Rangers' 4-3 win over the Twins on Saturday, could join them if a current American League All-Star pitcher couldn't play Tuesday.

Ross, who has pitched 22 1/3 straight scoreless innings and has not allowed an earned run in his last 29 2/3 innings, is 6-0 with a 0.96 ERA in 33 relief outings this year. A starter in high Class A Myrtle Beach and Double-A Frisco last season, Ross has made the transition to the bullpen nicely. His six wins lead all relievers and his 0.96 ERA would be the 10th-lowest in AL history at the All-Star break.

"It's been great," Ross said. "It's a different workload. This year, it's been day to day where I could possibly throw every day, whereas when you're a starter, it's five days off. This year, I didn't throw nearly as many innings as I did last year. I think the way the Rangers brought me through it has been great."

The 83rd Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be televised nationally by FOX Sports, in Canada by Rogers Sportsnet and RDS, and worldwide by partners in more than 200 countries via MLB International's independent feed. Pregame ceremonies begin at 6:30 p.m. CT. ESPN Radio and ESPN Radio Deportes will provide exclusive national radio coverage. MLB Network, MLB.com and Sirius XM also will provide comprehensive All-Star Game coverage.

Fans will also have the opportunity to participate in the official voting for the Ted Williams Most Valuable Player presented by Chevrolet via the 2012 MLB.com All-Star Game MVP Vote during the All-Star Game on MLB.com.

Missed out to post my thoughts on tonight's game. Great win but still, I'm sick and tired of the sac bunt with a man on 1st and no outs. Especially when it usually happens to be Andrus at bat is when these situations arise. He can hit the ball. Leave the bat in his hands. It's getting tiresome wasting an out to get a guy to 2nd. Wash does it every time. If it was Yorvit up to bat, then yeah, do it. But don't take the bats out of the hands of your top of the lineup guys. Never seen a team do that as much as us. Didn't we have more sac bunts in 4 straight innings a month or so ago and that was more than the Yankees had total or something?

Glad we pulled these wins out the last 2 games because the Angels are not letting up at all. And when they do, we are losing as well. Gonna be a fun 2nd half, as we play them a whole lot more now. This is when it gets fun and we should start getting the rest of our pitchers bat.

And yes, like someone mentioned, we have the Allstar break, and then quite a few days not many long stretches of games where we don't get time off. I want to see no bull$#@! rest from Wash.
