    @gkketch: Orangebloods has confirmed through three sources that projected Texas starting QB David Ash injured his hamstring today in workouts. No information on the severity of the injury is known at this time. UT reports at the end of next week.

    Let's not forget that apparently, Overstreet has been throwing the football like crazy every day, working on his passing. I don't think anyone expects him to be able to light it up this season, but with a running game and defense like this team is expected to have, so long as Overstreet can complete safe passes and the occasional play action deep throw, he won't have to.

    In any case, let's wait until we see the extent of Ash's hamstring injury before we start anointing Brewer/Overstreet/Herp Derp as starting QB.
